In 2020, Jon Edlin’s home was destroyed by a tornado. In the aftermath, he realized something many people don’t think about until it’s too late: most emergency kits include items you don’t need, while missing things that truly matter. Just as important, there was little clear guidance on what to do in the moment.
Edlin Tornado Solutions was created from that experience.
The company helps individuals and families feel more prepared and less overwhelmed through two core offerings: a thoughtfully designed tornado go bag built from real-world needs, and an online workshop, Tornado Safety Made Simple, that provides clear, practical guidance before, during, and after a storm.
