GiftWellSoon was inspired by founder Amy Steinhour's personal experience navigating breast cancer treatment. During her journey, Amy was surrounded by friends and family who genuinely wanted to help, but coordinating support while managing appointments, treatment, family responsibilities, and recovery became an additional burden. She recognized a gap between people wanting to help and individuals being able to clearly communicate what support they truly needed.
To bridge that gap, Amy created GiftWellSoon, a platform that makes it easy for people facing illness, caregiving responsibilities, recovery, or other life challenges to share their needs in one place.
